4M 2012 - Vienna, Austria, 9-11th October

4M2011 The First Call for Papers is published and invites papers that present original research and development in processes and process chains for multi-material micro and nano manufacture. The submission site will open on 1st February, and the deadline for submission of full 4-page papers is 9th March 2012. Further information is available, and will be regularly updated, on the 4M2012 webpages.

4M 2010 Special Issue

A Special Issue based on 13 papers drawn from the 4M2010 Conference has been published in the Journal for Micro and nano systems, Volume: 3, Issue: 3, September 2011, ISSN: 1876-4029, published by Bentham Direct.

World's smallest steam engine

Researchers at the University of Stuttgart, Germany and the Stuttgart-based Max Planck Institute for Intelligent Systems have developed a micrometer-scale heat engine.

COMS comes....to Europe!

This year the Commercialization of Micro-nano Systems Conference takes place in Europe. COMS2012 is to be held in Vestfeld, Norway from 24th to 27th June 2012.

MORGaN

The MORGaN project has come to an end and the consortium has published a final brochure that gives a summary of the progress made during the course of this successful FP7 project. The brochure can be downloaded from the MORGaN webpages.
