Integ-Micro: New production technologies of complex 3D micro-devices through multi-process integration of ultra precision engineering techniques.

A new FP7 project started on 1st December 2009. The MultiPlat project aims to develop biomimetic proton conductive membranes with nanometer thickness (nanomembranes) through the convergence of a number of fields.

This first EUMINAfab winter school at Minatec, Grenoble is aimed at Ph.D students, post-docs and engineers involved in micro and nanotechnologies and who wish to acquire a global and general overview of some of the most widespread nanocharacterisation techniques, such as SEM, TEM and XPS.

EUMINAfab is the first European Research Infrastructure on multimaterial micro and nanotechnology. It offers open and no-cost access to state of the art fabrication and characterisation technologies for a multitude of functional materials. EUMINAfab combines the scientific expertise and technological capacities of 10 leading European institutions from industry and academia, creating a unique source of knowledge and capabilities in micro nano technologies for European researchers from industry or academia.

The CHARPAN (CHARged PArticle Nanotech) integrated FP6-NMP project ended on March 31st 2009, after 48 project months.
