This first EUMINAfab winter school at Minatec, Grenoble is aimed at Ph.D students, post-docs and engineers involved in micro and nanotechnologies and who wish to acquire a global and general overview of some of the most widespread nanocharacterisation techniques, such as SEM, TEM and XPS.

EUMINAfab starts operation.

EUMINAfab is the first European Research Infrastructure on multimaterial micro and nanotechnology. It offers open and no-cost access to state of the art fabrication and characterisation technologies for a multitude of functional materials. EUMINAfab combines the scientific expertise and technological capacities of 10 leading European institutions from industry and academia, creating a unique source of knowledge and capabilities in micro nano technologies for European researchers from industry or academia.

EUMINAfab kick-off meeting

March 18th, a new European Research Infrastructure (ERI) celebrated its operation with a kick-off meeting at the coordinating Karlsruhe Nano Micro Facility (KNMF) of the Forschungszentrum Karlsruhe in Germany.

EUMINAfab is a new Research Infrastructure for emerging multimaterial micro and nano technologies. One of the EC's new I3 (Integrated Infrastructures Initiatives), EUMINAfab seeks to ensure that European researchers have access to high-end instruments
